Miriam’s company, previously known as Glam Candies, was rebranded to reflect her name as the brand. The new Miriam Corona Events became more personal and gave the customers an immediate understanding of her brand and event planning. A page was added to the new site to show off her Glam Candies and Sweet Tables, but it also emphasized them as products and services instead of focusing on these goodies as the brand itself.
The new brand was inspired from bees and honey. This lead to the development of the tagline “Events as Sweet as Honey.” The logo undoubtedly had to be a crown by the inspiration from her last name Corona, meaning crown in Spanish. The rendering of the crown was created from loose flowing lines which represent the path of a bee flying. This is a subtle but contemporary approach to the design which sets the tone for the rest of her brand. Her competition uses very soft colors and subtle textures. To break apart from them, we applied a contemporary style with simple patterns and designs mixed with bits of warm colors. These unique features alone help viewers remember her web site amongst the others!
An exciting new addition was added to her brand when Miriam received news that she is a mother to be! We then created a new baby blog to document her pregnancy and adventure into motherhood called Coronitas. The name was too perfect meaning “little crowns” in Spanish! After creating concepts for a new logo with a similar style, she chose to keep the same crown as the icon. We then applied new colors to set the tone for a new section of her brand. It has been exciting to be a part of Miriam’s new adventure in life which you can follow in addition to her event planning updates.
