Corporate branding created for Pain du Monde, a coffee shop in Southern California. The store was re-branded as PdM Bakery | Café to create a name which is more memorable. The new color scheme of orange, green and brown gave the company a more homestyle appeal. The colorful stripes were added when creating the cup designs halfway through developing the brand. It was such a fun design that we chose to carry it throughout all other printed materials in the shop. We decided to include messages on several of the stationary. One example read, ‘I’m really hot’ on the cups to personify the item to each customer. Another addition to the branding included creative tag lines on the display labels for each pastry. A local favorite consisted of the bagel’s label which read ”I’m always around”. These are some examples of ways we introduced humoristic labels on their products to promote a fun experience for every customer. These changes quickly became noticed and enhanced the local reputation of PdM. The scope of the project included redesigning of cups, menus, stationery, table cards, gift cards, bags, t-shirts, and more.
