Art prints are delicate and should be handled as little as possible to avoid damage. When handling unframed prints, use white cotton gloves to avoid finger prints, scratches, and damage to the surface. If needed, very gently clean the surface of your print with a lint-free cloth or a soft bristle brush. It's best to let a professional handle unframed prints when possible.
Consult a framing professional that understands the nature of framing large, limited edition photographs. These prints on paper are made of bamboo and cotton fibers that absorb and release humidity, meaning that large prints may occasionally wrinkle inside the frame with changes in humidity. This is normal and if a print is framed properly, will relax back to flat as the humidity decreases. To avoid potential wrinkling in humid locations, the print should be fixed to an archival acid-free backing. Only acid-free materials should be used when framing to best preserve your print. Prints are UV coated and resistant to fading, but it is recommended to use UV filter acrylic for additional protection. Please note, oversize materials will be needed to frame a 44"x55" print.
